From freelance practice to full-fledged firm
We began as a freelance practice in 2015 and became a full firm in 2021. Since then we have earned a reputation for careful, innovative work on homes, resorts, commercial buildings, religious buildings and interiors.
Our team includes local and offshore professionals. We aim to create meaningful, sustainable and high-quality designs that meet international standards, and we provide BIM and CAD production for practices abroad.

Lwin Mar has more than 20 years of experience in architectural design, project coordination and management in Myanmar and Singapore, including seven years of professional practice in Singapore (2007–2014).
In Yangon, her experience includes the Yoma Central project with SPA Design & Project Services and the Australian Embassy interior fit-out works with CNQC. In 2015 she started Lavender Architects as a freelance practice, and it became a full firm in 2021.
As an EDGE Expert accredited by the IFC, World Bank Group, she builds sustainable and green building practices into the studio’s designs.
